Now quickly! Toss me back into space! Oh… You cant do that, is that a thing in this game? Are there people with maxed out strength scores that can just toss people into orbit? Hrmm, this is going to be tougher than I thought.

SC Mike: “Cause this is magic world and Sci-fi don’t work here?”
yea, we are going to need a big balista or catapult.
Magic-powered mass driver!
I could see that working
Whoa, Kaylin’s losing it. Get it to together, girl!
She’s just been told that the ‘real’ her/him may be dead or dying and she can’t even remember much of that life because of her own, expanded backstory. I’d say that’s something to get emotional over.
A trope that I find to be at work here:

https://www.xkcd.com/609/
The funniest part is that xkcd counts for that as well. =)
edit: the xkcd comic you linked, not my link. Just to clarify.
Unless the other space players have contact with someone “outside”, they’re just speculating. And have they confirmed that they both ended up in their games during the same (real world) time periods?
You know Kaylin hasn’t meantioned the time jump. 300 years in game is 21 years outside, does this apply in any way? Even if it doesn’t what are the implications for the “trapping in game”?
This is actually brought up in page 21 of this chapter so don’t worry- this will be addressed soon!
